I don't believe that there is a separation between the FIVE BODIES, or that an imbalance in one of the FIVE BODIES will not have an effect in the other bodies.
- THE PHYSICAL BODY
- THE MENTAL BODY
- THE EMOTIONAL BODY
- THE PSYCHOLOGICAL BODY
- THE SPIRITUAL BODY
Think about it. (If you like)
You have a bad case of diarrhea. In spite of this physical condition, you decide that due to a situation that you believe is more important than having diarrhea, you have to go to your job. You shower your body. You dress yourself. You choose to skip the morning coffee for fear it may cause more harm than good. You get in your car and journey along in the direction of your job.
Suddenly, the cramping in your stomach tightens up. You start to perspire at your upper lip. You take deeper longer breaths. Now you search your mind for the fastest route to the nearest convenience mart or drug store. You can't even think of getting to your job, in fact you have forgotten all about the importance of getting there in your desperation to not have a very terrible accident in your car.
Somehow you make it to the drug store, you drink down some potion promising to restore you back to prime health, and you run directly to the restroom. Although relieved, you now feel exhausted and weak. You have crumpled up your nicely pressed outfit. The medicine didn't taste good and you want a cool drink. All of the sudden you mind wonders to the idea that if your mother had taken care of you when you were little all this wouldn't feel so bad. There was never anyone there to comfort you as a child when you were sick. You think about your husband's family and how they support each other. You feel envious of that support because you never got it.
The pain is back and the cramps start all over in a rolling cycle in your belly. You sink deeper into a depression sitting atop a public restroom toilet. Your thoughts move to your thankless job and how no one will care about why you are late today. Everyone will be busy rushing around and annoyed at you for being late. You start to wonder how you will tell anyone what has happened that made you so late. It's too personal to tell to anyone, too weird you think.
The rolling in your belly won't stop and there is no one to call on for help. You wonder how long it will be before someone starts knocking at the door to take their turn in the public rest room. 'No, not another fear' you tell yourself. You feel overwhelmed. You hang your head and surrender to the sadness. You feel uncared for, unappreciated, in secure, confused, unsure and unsafe. You begin to pray. Maybe your SPIRITUAL BODY can save you. Maybe with your SPIRITUAL BODY you can gather enough energy to pull you up and out of that bathroom and get you where you think you must go to be. You grab onto your SPIRITUAL BODY and cling to that knowing it is all that you have left to use to give the rest of you enough hope to make it up and off to that all important job.
If you ask most people they will tell you that diarrhea is simply and physical condition. However, when one aspect of the FIVE BODIES are unbalanced, diseased or in danger, all of the other BODIES will engage to assist and potentially suffer. It is normal for anyone to feel stressed, depressed alone and discouraged in the example above. The example is to illustrate the connectedness of all FIVE BODIES within the SYSTEM.
Having assistance in gaining health is normal. If I may be of service to you, please let me know your wishes for a better and better state of being.
